The objective of this course is to help students learn Python a language considered to be an ideal programming language for beginners.
The first module introduces the students to Python programming and working with variables, conditional execution and loops with hands on tutorials spread over a period of 10 sessions of one hour each.
The second module teaches the students operators and functions over a period of 10 sessions culminating in a project to create a Python game using the tools and techniques they have learnt in both the terms of this course.
This course is aimed at students with no prior programming knowledge or experience. It assumes that the student has the knowledge to use a Windows computer / Macbook.
The course fee is $300 AUD per module i.e. $600 AUD for the entire course.
This course is aligned with the curriculum for the PCEP – Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification. At the end of the course students can (optionally) appear for the certification exam by making payment of $59 USD to the Python Institute.
